this is my command line

nohup ./ffmpeg -i "udp://lo@224.1.1.1:1235?fifo_size=256000&buffer_size=2097152&overrun_nonfatal=1" -copytb 1 -filter_complex "[0:v][0:s:0]overlay[v];[v]scale=1280:720[y]" -map [y] -map 0:1 -b:v 2000k -maxrate 2500k -bufsize 4000k -c:v libx264 -strict 2 -profile:v "baseline" -preset veryfast -g 50 -keyint_min 50 -acodec aac -ac 2 -ar 44100 -ab 128k -vsync 1 -async 1 -f mpegts udp://224.0.0.12:1123?pkt_size=1316 2> /home/chhd.log &

I am using latest git version, also I tried with latest stable ffmpeg version, but I am facing the same problem

Priority: criticalnormal

Please record the input stream (not with FFmpeg) and provide the sample input file and command line together with complete, uncut console output.

comment:3 by Carl Eugen Hoyos, 7 years ago

Is the issue only reproducible with network output or also with file output?
Please provide a command line that allows to reproduce your issue with the input file you provided together with the complete, uncut console output.

I tested the video file now, the problem is on file output and network output also.

root@hermes:/home# ./ffmpeg -i 20170516\ 1137\ -\ HBO\ HD\ -\ Mladost\ u\ Oregonu.ts -copytb 1 -filter_complex "[0:v][0:s:0]overlay[v];[v]scale=1280:720[y]" -map [y] -map 0:1 -b:v 2000k -maxrate 2500k -bufsize 4000k -c:v libx264 -strict 2 -profile:v "baseline" -preset veryfast -g 50 -keyint_min 50 -acodec aac -ac 2 -ar 44100 -ab 128k -vsync 1 -async 1 -f mpegts test.ts

any help ??

Is there a problem with transport stream or command line ?

Maybe someone of the developers may suggest something.

Replying to stefki:

I tested the video file now, the problem is on file output and network output also.

root@hermes:/home# ./ffmpeg -i 20170516\ 1137\ -\ HBO\ HD\ -\ Mladost\ u\ Oregonu.ts -copytb 1 -filter_complex "[0:v][0:s:0]overlay[v];[v]scale=1280:720[y]" -map [y] -map 0:1 -b:v 2000k -maxrate 2500k -bufsize 4000k -c:v libx264 -strict 2 -profile:v "baseline" -preset veryfast -g 50 -keyint_min 50 -acodec aac -ac 2 -ar 44100 -ab 128k -vsync 1 -async 1 -f mpegts test.ts

What is wrong with the output file test.ts?

Unrelated: Please understand that security issues were found in the past for FFmpeg, using a root account for transcoding is not a good idea.

comment:7 by stefki, 7 years ago

I converted the file now again and the output file test.ts is converted ok . No frames lost.

Strange ?? what can be ?
