Description

The benefits would be:

  • Developers can implement assembly for said insn set (eg aarch64, avx, avx2)
  • Developers can evaluate the impact of a change on said insn set (eg a buffer change breaking avx but not ssex)
  • fate can be set up to verify if something breaks on a device with said insn set (eg SSE2 insn used in SSE1 code on SSE1 machine)

As we come up with a list of what is mising, each should get its own ticket.
That way they can properly be kept track of and closed one by one as they get resolved
