Add a new HDV1080 format

This may be a valid ticket once you explain what you are trying to do that does not work.

To produce a HD MPEG-2 output, similar to what "-f dvd" can do for SD, avoiding to have to set the buffer size and other parameters.
Whatever the new Mpeg-2 HD format could be named: hdv or anything else.

Sorry, you cannot open a ticket using a sever-year old mailing list thread as explanation.
If you have an issue with FFmpeg, please explain your use case and how to reproduce.

Or to say it differently: If you find a multimedia file that works with other tools but not FFmpeg, opening a ticket is useful. Opening a ticket because you heard rumors of a missing feature makes no sense.
