Description
When attempting to playback APE files, they don’t work.
This happens when using deadbeef or cmus. They both fail playing back APE when ffmpeg is used for APE decoding.

According to the analysis in the linked issue cmus is violating the API. I therefore close this as invalid. Feel free to reopen it if you can provide the information that cehoyos asked you for.
