Ignore coded resolutions in using -c:v copy?

A coded resolution is 1920x1080 (0x0) in using -c:v copy.
Does it mean that coded resolutions is ignored? I don't know if it makes an effect on output files.
A source file is 1080.mp of ticket #7544.
