    11I attached a context diff with the changes I've made to matroskadec.c to show what I'm talking about.

     3In case anyone wonders, the change from 86 to 36 in "track->codec_priv.size >= 36" at line 27 in the diff, this was made by me long ago to allow (old) version 0 sound sample descriptions to be detected, since they are only 36 bytes.
