Reported by: Alex Owned by:
Priority: normal Component: undetermined
Version: git-master Keywords: mov
Cc: Blocked By:
Blocking: Reproduced by developer: yes
Analyzed by developer: no

Description

Description: Orientation information ignored
Version: latest trunk
URL: see below

Steps that will reproduce the problem?

  1. ffmpeg -i sample-in.mov -vcodec copy -acodec copy sample-out.mov
  2. Open sample-out.mov with QuickTime Player X

What is the expected result?
Video in portrait mode.

What happens instead?
Video in langscape mode.

Possible workaround:
Maybe just a missing parameter? Apple related only?

Any additional information:

  • Example files: attached
  • Screenshots: attached
  • Command:
