    initial v1
1 I experience this issue on ffmpeg 2.1.4 on Fedora 20: streaming to an RTMP sink will drop FPS heavily. I can't get beyond 40FPS, on a video encoded to 2000kbps CBR, but encoding to a local file gets me perfect 60FPS. Is there any know workaround or solution for this?
1I'm not sure if this is supposed to be Windows-specific, but I'm experiencing what seem to be similar symptoms on Linux (Fedora 20, ffmpeg 2.1.4). I have 20Mbps of effective upload bandwidth, but trying to stream a 2000Kbps encoded stream to twitch.tv (using RTMP) only allows me to send at ~40FPS, but encoding to a local file works perfectly at 60FPS.
