this one plays correctly, so no need to fix anything. mine should be encoded as rgb24 (at least I selected such color depth for output in virtualdub), but i'm not sure which pixel formats are really supported by zerocodec

I messed up something, here is a correction:
ffplay:
sample-zeco.avi - ok
zerocodec.avi - upside-down
wmp + zerocodec or virtualdub + zerocodec:
sample-zeco.avi - upside-down
zerocodec.avi - ok

remove ffzerocodec and add this to codecs.conf for test with mplayer:
videocodec zerocodec info "ZeroCodec" status working fourcc ZECO driver vfw dll "zerocodec.dll" out BGR24

Should be fixed, thank you for reporting and testing!

How does http://fate.ffmpeg.org/fate-suite/zerocodec/sample-zeco.avi play with the original codec?
