To compile FFmpeg, you need to install the mingw-w64 GCC environment (either in the i686 or x86_x64 flavor). Use one of the commands:

     106Unfortunately the gcc.exe it provides seems to create binary's that require files like "libgcc_s_dw2-1.dll" and "libwinpthread-1.dll" (etc.?) to accompany your executable, so can cause some difficulty there.
